Xperia presents Tisser at Bombay Times Fashion Week 2020

In a prominent mall of Mumbai, Xperia mall, where Bombay Times Fashion Week was taking place, Tisser India got the chance to showcase a new
collection of hand painted textiles such as Madhubani, Gondh, Pattachitra, Kalamkari, Warli in the subtle blend of modern silhouettes worn by models. This provided great exposure for our products, across all media coverages.

Showcasing our finest products Sahayadri Guest House Mumbai
In the presence of the honourable CM and Honorable DY.CM of Maharashtra the artisans from rural clusters had the opportunity to showcase the products their cluster made. In this exhibition at Sahaydri Guest house Mumbai, the efforts and the unique products were lauded by the assemble. This boosted the morale of our artisans in their craft.

Showcasing our finest products in Chennai Exhibition
22nd to 29th February 2020
In an event organised by the Craft Council of India, Tisser India had the opportunity to showcase its products. In the eight day exhibition, best of our products including jute bags, wooden jewellery, kurtis, wallers Warli artifacts were shown. This helped create awareness and increase visibility in the masses of Chennai and audience of exhibition.

Women on Wings Social Impact Summit 2020

Branding & Products Showcase at Maharashtra Police International Marathon ( MPIM) Expo 2020

Taken place at Jio World Centre, BKC, Tisser India had the unique opportunity to showcase its products at MPIM Expo 2020. Awareness Workshop 11th January 2020
In collaboration with Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), we took an initiative to uplift the artisans in rural communities. Here the people from cities and rural clusters came under one roof to discuss the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. This was very rewarding for the our artisans.

In OGM college of Goa was conducted the Serendipity Arts festival where the best of artisans and craftsman come together to sell and buy. Our Products were appreciated widely by our customers. products of clothing, dining, stationary and décor our assemble became the center of attention and garnered us many orders on Travel gifting and corporate gifting. This proved to be a great opportunity for our artisans to meet a different kind of consumer base.

PERNIA’S POP-UP SHOW SPRING/SUMMER’ 19

This event was done in collaboration of Native Haat on the Mahalaxmi race course where a Pop up show, showcasing our sarees, kurtas, dupattas, palazzo pants and many such clothing items. It was a unique experience for the whole team since, people were impressed with the wide range of clothing we presented. Support was provided by Native Haat to our Tisser team to credit the success of the event.

TIMES SANSKRUTI FESTIVAL -THANE

Times Sanskruti Festival which happens to be one of the most popular events for the art lovers in Mumbai, is a confluence of art and culture. It happened in Upvan lake in Thane, in a hall where the stalls for our products were
showcased for customers. Not just the products, the art of making them but

CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT

In Sanjay Gandhi National park and Ganeshpuri, cluster development activities were organised to boost the morale of artisans and engage them together in an activity. In the course of the same, the artisans were observed sharing tips
and tricks of the art in between laughs. Each cluster has one representative amongst them to guide and supervise.

HANDLOOM FABRIC TOY MAKING PROJECT

PIDILITE & TISSER ARTISANS TRUST
In a collaboration with Pidilite’s corporate social responsibility initiative and Tisser Artisan Trust, handloom fabric toy making project took place. With the prerequisite of knowledge of sewing, women were trained in the skill of making fabric toys in the location of Kalsar, Mahuva, Gujarat. The many fabric toys made under this initiative, sustainable in nature, found its audience online.

Breaking the Glass Ceiling – Investing in Women Led Enterprises

Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2018
Kala Ghoda festival which is one of the most esteemed and populous art festivals of Asia has the most creative and open minds participate and engage. Tisser India put up a stall for four days in the event. It received an encouraging response and gave ideas to the team to branch further in designs and consumer preferences.
SWADESHI EXHIBITION
MAY 2018
GoCoop, one of the biggest destinations to shop authentic handwoven & handcrafted sarees, apparels, accessories, fabrics, home furnishings from artisans and weaver co-operatives across India organised an exhibition in Mumbai called Swadeshi Exhibition. TIsser India also participated in the same for five days in which it showcased a wide variety of handloom and handicrafts. The focussed niche of the exhibition helped Tisser build connections and make sales.
